Two little people live in a wheat field. They grow together until the day when the man left. It is the time all the wheat has been mowed. The relationship between two little people keeps growing in the woman’s heart.

Oskar Salomonowitz, the 12-year-old son of filmmakers Anja Salomonowitz and Virgil Widrich, had drawn 206 pictures in a flipbook when he died in an accident. His father continued to draw the film with the remaining 482 sheets.

Swallow the Universe is a Japanese Emaki manga (a hand-painted horizontal scroll), which tells the grandiloquent blood-and-thunder saga of a young child lost in Manchuria’s deep jungles. His sudden presence creates complete anarchy in the local fauna’s until-then perfectly organized and primitive world. Gifted with striking beauty, the child’s presence awakens in the monkeys, tigers, anteaters and amphibians, envy and need of possession, originally human passions.

A videoclip designed and coded for a single titled bamb00 of a Polish drummer Jacek Prościński aka wh0wh0. This work also includes an interactive website bamb00.net The video itself is a live record (without cuts and montage) of a computer program (coded in Processing), which reacts to the signal from the drums. Every playback, the program generates a different result – random elements, perspectives and movements – but keeping the same base story.

The Dalang's Tale is an animated short film about domestic violence with visuals inspired by Malaysian traditional wayang kulit or shadowpuppets. Two stories intertwine: one of a workaholic father and his growing impatience with his young son as they make their way to watch a shadow puppet master or dalang's show and the other of a man who dotes on his son but secretly inflicts acts of abuse on his wife before he disappears after a violent incident.

In a world of escalators, figures pursue their desire to consume in a given rhythm. One of the figures is sucked in at the end of an escalator and finds itself in a quiet, weightless room, where it joins the playing figures. Meanwhile, the escalator world is thrown into confusion by a chips-mad dog. When the dog is also sucked in by an escalator, a power struggle between the two worlds begins.

Megamall

The children are having frolic with the insects on the lawn. The inspiration comes from the memory of chasing locust in my childhood. It reveals the terror, repression and conflict between children and insects, which were concealed in the frolic. The unpredictable rhythm is created by means of combining the real ambient sound with virtual sound made by synthesizer.

Paradiddle is a motion graphics animation combining 2D and 3D, which focuses on the development of percussion in the military. Percussion has been used in the military since the stone age: stone was used as both weapons and musical instruments. People use percussion instruments to signal starting wars. War has greatly influenced the development of percussion instruments. Paradiddle is a film addressing the relationship between percussion and war.

Drawing has always been my interest since I was a kid. Since I started memorizing things, having a pen in my hand gives me power to create a world of mine with happiness. But, later on as I grew up, the expectations from my school and my parents have not always been supporting me to do something that is not getting me a higher score. Those pressures kept following me in my teenage years. However, when I look back, I realized if it weren't for those obstacles then I would not find myself loving creating so much. And those years of struggling are leading to a bright future. So I want to illustrate the relationship between myself and my dream. Also send out a message to anyone who struggles being themselves, and my younger self - just follow your heart and don’t let anybody crush your dream.

In my whole projects, making 3D projects is the happiest thing. Especially for the render part, it bring me a lot of sense of accomplishment. Besides, I also love story pitch, and I usually collect idea and materials via different sources.I have great enthusiasm in the animation industry and look forward to join it.

“What does the hangman think about when he goes home at night from work?” Inspired by the iconic Carl Sandburg poem (1922), The Hangman at Home explores themes of acknowledgement and participation. The animated film invites you into five interwoven stories featuring people caught in a pivotal moment: they are fragile, playful, terrified, contemplative, confused, curious. We watch their intimate deeds in a reflective state, and they gaze back, transforming us from spectators to witnesses. The film is not about hanging people, but about the awkward intimacy that comes with being human, and the connection between spectator, witness, and accomplice. The Hangman at Home reveals that we are all alike in these moments, while also raising questions of responsibility. The Hangman at Home is a co-production between Late Love Production (Denmark), Miyu Productions (France), Floréal Films (France) and the National Film Board of Canada.
