SKIN is a poetic exploration of identity and self-discovery, using visual symbolism to depict a woman's transformation into a man. With the help of their inner manifestation, the ice man, they sheds their old skin and embraces their true identity.

The film mixes the journey of a fictional character, an unknown entity played by drag performance artist Beaujangless, with documentary roadside encounters in a nocturnal car ride through the ‚City of Angels’.&nbsp;Observations of people passing by, accompanied by an AI-generated voice-over reciting first-person narratives from interviews, intertwine with sequences of the main character dancing to Holly Herndon‘s song ‚Frontier’.&nbsp;The film explores narratives as both center and limit of human world experience and self-awareness, the concept of an immortal human soul in neo-religious, dataist times, as well as the USA as a collective narrative of capitalist superiority in decay.&nbsp;‚Because We Bleed‘ is a meditation on storytelling and a poetic journey into a new, dark age.&nbsp;

INSTITUTION

Set in a near future, Kevin, a young scientist haunted by his childhood memories, attempts to construct a time machine that brings him back to his past. After numerous setbacks, the machine springs to life! But to his surprise, the machine takes him to a realm saturated with pictures of his adolescence, where his memories had become toxic to the core of his true self. Kevin attempts to enter each memory, but cannot bare seeing his younger self burdened with the suppression of his true identity. With a new way to assure and be the hero to his younger self, he is determined to change the story that had already been written.

In this raunchy and outlandish queer comedy, best friends Robby and Noah-Lee – employees at Portland's historic Clinton Street Theater – find themselves confronted by a parade of increasingly wacky, genre-tinged suitors.

A series of photos and screenshots tell the story of how Samira Elagoz and Z Walsch, two transmasculine artists, fall madly in love with each other, This unique slideshow documents two long-haired trans men falling in love. Over the course of one year, the artist couple gathered photographs from real-life events such as their first kiss, meeting each other's parents, long-distance thirst traps, a beach wedding, and top surgery and its subsequent recovery. A sweet and steamy celebration of T4T love with life and art all tangled up.
