This short film is a love letter to 2019, before the madness, before we had heard of words like “Furlough”, “Self-Isolation”, “Social Distancing and when the number “19” was your final year as a teenager. Come 2020, and we are feeling anxious, not able to do the things we had taken for granted, living a half-life. “Messages to the Cosmos,” the writing of those feelings of negativity in the sand, the waves washing them away, to be returned with positive thoughts from the cosmos. Drifting words and sand scripts this is new wave art an unburdening of the past. Thanks to Ian Horn for the inspiration and sand writing poems and to Michelle Longstaff, for her insights and guidance "Drifting Words" Tides of Life erasing my thoughts and dreams As if nothing precious Out to drift in the seas beyond Soft Breezes carry back a sense of another Hopes gently fill the spaces between Found on the shores of souls
