This multimedia piece began as an inquiry into my grandparents' immigration story from China and ended up being a study of wounding and healing from intergenerational trauma.

I photographed and interviewed my parents, spending more time in my childhood home over 10 weeks than I had in the last 10 years. This is a story of redemption for the next generation and a glimpse of the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.
