In a quiet coastal town in southern Morocco, Wedad, a young mother burdened by the weight of motherhood and family duty, moves through her days with quiet resilience. As she navigates the crowded marketplace, the minutiae of her life speak of a yearning for something beyond the confines of her existence.

Engulfed in introspection, Wedad tends to her family and home, finding solace in the vast ocean that stretches before her. A strange waking nightmare speaks to her subconscious dread, prompting her to confront the life she’s been leading. As dusk descends, she returns home to face her pain and release the burdens she’s been carrying. With quiet determination, she makes a choice that will change her life forever.

In the final moments, as life goes on around her, Wedad embarks on an uncertain journey.
