Director Statement
From the day I can remember, women were oppressed in Afghanistan, Even my own mother. That's why I try to depict the stories of the painful lives of Afghan women.
When America came to Afghanistan, a new life happened for women and they were able to be present in society and grow.
But when the Taliban tried to take over Afghanistan again, women were more worried about their future than others, which unfortunately happened, the Taliban took over the country and denied women all their rights.
I am trying to portray the lives of these great women.
