Welcome to the Wild Encounters Film Night !

We're so happy you will be joining us to watch our film, The Singing Planet!

Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will help to support ongoing projects that keep Richard (Nels) Nelson's voice and vision alive in the world, including new and classic Encounters radio broadcasts, podcasts, films, and a book project.

The Singing Planet will be available for viewing beginning Wednesday, February 23rd, at 8 am Alaska time (AKST), until Sunday, March 6 at 11:45 pm AKST. The Live Q & A on Friday, February 25th at 7 pm AKST, has been recorded, so you can still watch it after the film.

Technical tips: Be sure to use an UPDATED version of Firefox or Chrome (DO NOT USE SAFARI). Use your best speakers or headphones to fully enjoy the natural sounds & if your internet can handle it, click on the little gear on the bottom right of your video player, and choose 1080 resolution.

Do a test of your system before you watch: Click on "Need Help" at top right of your screen, then "Test your device" to do a free test of your system.

Join us for a lively discussion with filmmaker, Liz McKenzie and natural sounds recordist & author, Hank Lentfer. Be sure to start the film by 6 pm Alaska Standard Time( AKST), Friday Feb. 25th, so you can join us for the live stream event at 7 pm AKST. If you can't make the live event, we'll be recording it and posting it with the film so you can catch it on Saturday or Sunday after the Friday night event.
