Alaa, from Gaza, was Palestine’s fastest road cyclist – but denied permission to travel to compete internationally. Dressed in his cycling gear, he took his bike and joined to the Great March of Return to protest the siege of Gaza. He, like many protesters, was shot by Israeli snipers. The film follows Alaa’s challenging physical rehabilitation and his unwavering aspirations to compete on an international stage.
