In the not-so-distant future a procedure exists that can eliminate self doubt caused by childhood trauma and emotional wounds. An abusive childhood leaves Joan (Jessie Cohen) isolated and struggling to find self-worth in a world where the standard is nothing short of perfection. After meeting Dr. Freeman (Gina Comparetto) the doctor who developed the technology and a chance encounter with another patient named Chloe (Andrea Thompson) the procedure becomes more appealing. Joan is also left with a great sense of unease. She battles internally whether she should go forward with the cutting-edge procedure, but is hopeful it will give her the happiness she’s desperately been searching for. Will it end her suffering or change the core of who she is and strip away what makes her human?
