Rachel is a devout Jewish woman fascinated by tango, a dance flourishing around her but largely beyond her reach. Determined to learn, she enters a brothel and meets Rivka, a Jewish sex worker who introduces her to the dance. Moving between Yiddish and Spanish, this unlikely encounter gives both women the chance to see their lives differently.
