Summer at a lakehouse in Poland is anything but tranquil for a young couple in conflict. The story of their devolving relationship is told through the eyes of their seven-year-old daughter. Confused and alone, little Misia starts to lose her sense of security and shows us how abuse at home can shatter everything in its path. An important perspective on why we need to do better in addressing domestic violence.

WHAT WE LOVE

"Shows the complexity of some violent relationships - where love can also be involved." "Portrayal of the mother-daughter relationship is spot-on." "Tragic, realistic, lyrical."
