Between the Lines: Liz at Large
The story of trailblazer Liz Montague, the first Black female cartoonist at The New Yorker magazine. Dismayed that all of the magazine's illustrations featured White subjects, Montague sketches a world in which Black women are the main characters. Her cartoons push the publication’s boundaries in an accessible style with clean lines and representative subjects. It's about time!

A new dress for a family wedding causes a crisis for teenage Lexi. The frilly outfit sends her into a panic and becomes the catalyst for confronting her true identity. A heartfelt story about courage, self-awareness and the power of family.

As preparations are underway for a party on a Thursday, the young girls know it means someone will have a wedding. The girls are expected to marry and have babies, even if they want to go to school. They have no choice in the matter. Who will be the bride this time?

This short documentary focuses on the efforts of those seeking to protect the Gulf and all the creatures that inhabit it. Straightforward and blunt, this film shows the destruction of the Gulf and how we must fix it before it’s too late.
