Rex, a shy 17-year-old boy with very low self-esteem, commits suicide by shooting himself. Unexpectedly, his own ghost, a charming, confident show-off, goes back in time and appears just before the suicide to convince him not to go through with the irreparable act. Time travel, adventure, humor, and emotion all come together in this fantasy/comedy.

Director's Statement

By making this film, our ambition was to offer a surprising, funny and breathtaking story,

while paying homage to the films that have marked my cinematic culture, such as Back to the

Future, Fight Club...

This story is my story, but it's also the story of a whole team that helped me make this project

a reality.

Enjoy your viewing!

Crew

Jules Cachin - Director

A film buff from an early age, Jules CACHIN has always been fascinated by the way different stories are told. After three years at ESRA Paris, he had the opportunity to direct three films: "Bienvenue chez vous" (Welcome Home), "Cours." (Run.) and "Rexsurrection". He is currently working on his new short film, "Une Seconde à perdre" (One Second to lose).

Although the first two films were closer to thrillers or horror, his genre is moving more and more towards zany comedy, by way of fantasy. For him, making a feature film one day would be more than a dream.

Nicolas Pignant - Producer

Nicolas is an aspiring filmmaker born in Versailles, France. He began his career in film at an early age, taking drama classes in secondary school. At the same time, he continued to develop his passion for the 7th art by making costumes from his favorite movies, editing videos, writing stories, producing short films and watching movies. Nicolas studied business and film, which led to his dream trip to the United States. His dream became even greater when he covered the 94th Academy Awards ceremony as an assistant photographer (he will also cover the 95th). Enthralled by this experience, Nicolas joined UCLA for his final year of master's studies, where he co-produced his first American short film, which led him to co-direct his first short film in France a few weeks after graduation. Nicolas currently works in audiovisual production for a Paris-based company, and is looking forward to his next creative adventure.
