Raissa Reis - Writer/Director

Raissa Reis is a Brazilian-American writer/director dedicated to telling raw, compelling stories. Her unique perspective as a lesbian first-generation woman allows her to create genre bending

work with underrepresented characters at the helm. Her short film, Where It Happened, premiered at the Provincetown International Film Festival in 2022. The film has been described as powerful, confronting, and beautiful. When she's not creating art of her own, she is supporting other emerging filmmakers through her work as a manager at WIF (Women In Film)
