As her eyesight deteriorates, Rachel struggles with even the simplest tasks, like calling her daughter who lives in New York. With the help of passers by outside her house, she finally gets to hear the voice of her child, and her new born granddaughter. Israeli filmmaker Or Sinai, whose short Anna won the Cinefondation student film competition at Cannes in 2016, is back with a moving and sensitive film about ageing, longing and grief.
