“An ethnic comedy that benefits from […] an irresistibly warm spirit.” - The Hollywood Reporter
Seeing his precious sound equipment trashed in a freak accident, Joey Miller, aka the king MC of Detroit’s (Jewish) party scene, is in dire need of money. Against his better judgment, he partners up with his shady uncle Morty to steal his grandmother’s highly guarded pickle recipe and sell it for a small fortune. As expected, the plan goes wrong, but the lesson Joey learns in the process is priceless: there is nothing more important in life than your family, except maybe for a truly scrumptious pickle.
