Adam’s Bar Mitzvah is memorable for all the wrong reasons: his dad goes AWOL, his mum has (yet another) fight with her mother-in-law, his cousin has a sexual encounter outside the hall and a rocket bring the whole affair to a halt. But even this chain of small catastrophes will not stop Adam from showing the world the man that he has become.
