Ultra-Orthodox couple Naftali and Feige have been married for four years but are still having trouble conceiving. While Naftali is away, Feige gets closer to a mysterious rabbi who has been invited to stay with her in-laws where she and her husband also live. The rabbi’s offer of treating her infertility leads to a deep physical and emotional trauma that affects not only Feige herself but also her family and community. In his first full-length drama, filmmaker and rabbi Mordechai Vardi sensitively and bravely explores the conflict between human emotions, Jewish law and strict family values within the Haredi community.
