Jeanne is a shy young woman who works the graveyard shift as a janitor at an amusement park. Her mother wants her to meet a man, but Jeanne prefers tinkering in her bedroom with wires and spare parts to create miniature versions of theme park rides. She begins spending intimate time with the alluring new Tilt-A-Whirl ride during her late-night shifts that she decides to call “Jumbo.” Finding herself somehow seduced by the red lights, smooth chrome, and oily hydraulics, Jeanne concludes that she wants to pursue the thrilling new relationship with Jumbo. This lyrical and seductive drama features striking colorful visuals and provides a poignant meditation on love and its infinite possibilities.
