This political coming of age style documentary follows the escalating tensions that arise within a riveting gubernatorial race as viewers meet unforgettable teenagers like Ben, a Reagan-loving conservative with unshakeable confidence, and Steven, a progressive-minded child of Mexican immigrants who remains convicted amidst a sea of red. Filmmakers Jesse Moss and Amanda McBaine create a complex portrait of modern American masculinity while cultivating hope for the next generation of leaders despite frequent national political division.
