In this wistful coming-of-age music-comedy Erik’s dreams come true when he's asked to run sound for his favorite band, 316, a Christian hair metal band made up of older kids from his church. After a stand out performance at the 1986 church camp talent show, 316 meets Skip Wick, a Christian Rock promoter promising the boys a summer of paid gigs and a shot at making a record in Nashville. Their plans change, however, when 16-year-old pastor's daughter Sarah stows herself away in the band's RV after a church performance, becoming the band's accidental muse, a head-turning opening act, and Erik's first love. Discussion with director and writer Chris White; editor Scott Lansing; and actors Brian Baumgartner, Andrew Eakle, Shannon Hutchinson, and Will Oliver; moderated by Chandler Ferrebee (VAFF) to follow.
