Kindhearted and quick-witted psycho-therapist Ina (Anne Ratte-Polle in top form) notices that something is wrong with her health. But, she doesn’t have time to worry about herself. Her clients are in need of her gentle care and insight. Her live-in partner, Reto, assumes that Ina won’t mind upending her practice to move to Finland for his teaching career. In protest, her moody teenage daughter Elli (Lea Drinda, raw and persuasive) is threatening to move in with her absentee father. And Ina’s self-centered mother Tamara (Ulrike Willenbacher, droll) interrupts her client sessions to guilt-trip her into catering to her whims for her upcoming 70th birthday party. Ina wants to please everyone, but something has to give. A new revelation prompts her to rethink her priorities.

With fine-tuned conflict at every turn, this exquisitely written dramedy weaves a satisfying story about finding the resolve to show up for oneself.
