Based on the poem “For Heidi with Blue Hair” by Fleur Adcock, this punky short stars Chloe Lea as thirteen-year-old Heidi. After being punished by her school for breaking the rules with a majestic blue mohawk, Heidi drags her feet home with her best friend Dee, ready to face the music. But her dad is supportive, and finds a loophole to challenge the school. With Dad and Dee by her side, Heidi finds the strength to go back into battle, unaware of Dee’s plan to beat the headmistress at her own game.
