The NightMea follows New Zealand boxing champion Mea Motu's journey from domestic violence survivor to WBA titleholder, showing how reconnecting with her Māori cultural roots and community transformed trauma into triumph. Through intimate testimony and stunning cinematography of traditional practices and boxing sequences, this 5-minute mental health impact film explores Voices with Impact themes of Community, Connection &amp; Coping. Director Corinna Hunziker (Ngāpuhi) and co-producer Megan Jones are award-winning filmmakers who created "No Māori Allowed." Both bring lived experience of domestic abuse and mental health advocacy.
