Oskar’s Quest is a film about how 13 year old Oskar Mowdy allowed his shock and sadness about climate to transform his approach to school and set off a chain reaction, which led to circles of school children discussing their thoughts and feelings about the likely collapse of society from climate change.Bendell says “I made the film to help parents, teachers and young people explore the issues, emotions and ideas on this topic. In particular, I want to encourage adults to move beyond discussions of what is the best thing to say, tweet or post about the school strikers, and instead explore how we can act in real solidarity with them.”&nbsp; Oskar’s Quest is followed by Sand Castle (5 min) 2019 by Oskar Mowdy Oskar is a sensitive 13 year old who challenges all of us to find ways to deeply adapt to the ecological breakdown we are experiencing. How can we live in ways that are meaningful without further damaging our planet?

Tsunami Ladies celebrates the women of Chile and Japan who overcame tsunamis in 2010 and 2011. Through their love of cooking, they led the reconstruction of their villages. Ana María Badilla and Tamiko Abe are two of the protagonists who meet on a trip from Chile to Japan. The kitchen is the centre for sharing their common gastronomic skills and the language of survival.
