Wenn Caroline Pitzen nach einigen Minuten den Titel ihres Films einblendet, zeigt sich Deutschland als Schauplatz von politischen Kämpfen. „Alerta, Alerta, Antifascista!“ ist in der Konsequenz für einige zur Prämisse des Alltags geworden: Junge Menschen, die von der Unruhe in der Welt keinen Abstand nehmen wollen – die nicht wegsehen, sondern abwägen, diskutieren, aufmerksam bleiben, wahrnehmen. Ebenso wie die Kamera des Films, die sie dabei beobachtet, wie und wo sie aktiv sind: im Freundeskreis, in der Schule, auf der Straße, selbst nachts zu Hause.
