To celebrate its 20th edition, the WFF presents the Sea to Sky Shorts Showcase, a new regional filmmaking competition with a $2,000 prize for the winning film.
10 local filmmaking teams have been selected to produce, shoot and edit a short film that tells the story of their Sea to Sky in just 20 days.
The showcase is about discovering great stories that connect us to the people and our community while highlighting filmmakers from the Sea to Sky region - from Horseshoe Bay through Squamish and Whistler to the Pemberton Valley inclusive of Birken and D'Arcy. Films will be shown online and in-theatre with the winning film being announced at WFF's Awards Celebration on December 20.
