The Yukon Film Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to nourishing filmmakers and film lovers. Through the Available Light Film Festival and the Available Light Cinema series, we curate and exhibit contemporary, independent and alternative moving pictures of Canadian and International origin to Yukon audiences.

During the physical shut-down of theatres, we’ve teamed up with independent distributors to bring you first-run films in the comfort of your home. Enjoy some of the best recent films and support the Yukon Film Society at the same time, with a portion of your rental fee helping to fund the film society.

The Yukon Film Society humbly acknowledges that we are based on the traditional territory of the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and that we live, create and benefit within this territory. Shä̀w níthän. Kwä̀nä̀schis. Gunalchîsh.

We gratefully acknowledge the annual support of Yukon Arts Operating Fund, Lotteries Yukon and Canada Council for the Arts.
