About the Film: A middle-aged woman and her best friend race to make her over for the anniversary dinner she’s sure her husband is surprising her with. About the Filmmaker: Lain Kienzle is a Brooklyn-based writer, director and script supervisor. Lain’s script supervising credits span everything from comedy TV shows to independent features and include Saturday Night Live, The Last OG, That Damn Michael Che, John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch, The Forty Year Old Version, The Mountain, and Goldie. Lain’s short films have screened at festivals across the US, including Omaha, Dumbo, and Chicago 48-Hour. Her screenplays have garnered praise from Slamdance, Cinequest, Denver, and Nashville Screenplay Competitions. She graduated summa cum laude from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and TV production.&nbsp;Lain’s greatest passion is showing people something new, whether it’s an unconventional way to shoot a scene or an untold story.

About the Film: A normal day for Tracey includes jerking off with the aid of her bathtub faucet about 3-4 times. She’s absolutely ashamed of her addiction but she doesn’t know any other way to get through this mortal coil. But today something, for once, changes. The pipes break, start shooting out dirty water and Tracey starts leaking black goo. Her maintenance man is unable to come by and google searches suggest only cars leak similar substances. Tracey takes matters into her own hands and descends into the basement to find the cause of her suffering and confront it, so she can jerk off in peace. About the Filmmaker: Daphne Gardner is a filmmaker from Baltimore, MD living in Brooklyn, NY. She has directed, produced and co-written sketches, web series, and behind-the-scenes videos for Comedy Central, including&nbsp;Abbi and Ilana's Broad City, a short documentary film following Broad City from its web series inception to the fifth and final season. She created the documentary web series Her Room, which explores woman-identified bedrooms and personal history. She also is the co-host of the podcast Ladies Horror Night with Kate McEdwards, covering female centric horror films and video store culture.

About the Film: Hard truths are revealed when Carol and Janet each receive a package containing pieces of their shared ex boyfriend. About the Filmmaker: Andrea Rosen is the director, co-producer, and writer of Carol &amp; Janet. Before this project, Andrea directed, wrote, co-produced, and starred in the short films The Rain Poncho and Helen’s Nose. She also made the short film And I Need A Haircut (Vimeo staff pick). Andrea is also an actor who’s been seen in Upload, Transparent, Episodes, Get Shorty, and Stella. In 2013, Andrea had her own show on NickMom called Take Me To Your Mother, a comedic documentary about motherhood.

About the Film: Few cinematic genres endure like the urban crime drama- or rely more on stereotypes. Hardboiled satirizes the language and macho posturing of the police procedural by placing it in a world of stop-motion animated food, recontextualizing the violence and power dynamics underpinning the mythology of the iconoclastic anti-hero in the most absurd way. Detectives Harry and Callaham, an egg and a grilled ham steak, tangle with their own boss, the Knishoner, as readily as they take on the criminal underworld while investigating a slew of disturbing eggicides. The tropes of fighting crime against a landscape of urban grit are comically skewered as our rogue detectives traverse the porous border between the law and the code of the streets.
