ABOUT THE FILM: In this Spanish comedy, three retired women travel by bus through Europe. All recently widowed, they’ve decided that it’s time to start living. Their first stop is a square in the city center featuring a large stone fountain whose legend assures that any visitor who tosses a coin into the water will return there someday. The three friends, amazed by the beauty of the city, excitedly toss coins. But after spending three days standing in endless queues to take photos with monuments they don’t know, on tourist trains that make them queasy, and buying silly souvenirs made in China, the three friends begin to think that perhaps tourism is not the fun, rewarding activity that they thought it was.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Enrique Buleo is born in 1979 in Villanueva de la Jara, a small town in Cuenca (Spain). Here he spends his childhood and adolescence trying to become an athlete and a techno lover until he comes of age. Between 2012 and 2014 he studies a master's degree in film script. He has directed Decorosa (2016), El infierno y tal (2018) and Las Visitantes (2021). In September he is going to startd filming his first feature films.
