Synopsis: Poking fun at the surreal onslaught of sourdough content instigated by the coronavirus lockdown, along its ubiquitous presence on Instagram, this darkly hilarious video forges a nightmare by merging the sudden baking craze with the unsettling proliferation of conspiracy theories. The main character, checking his Instagram nightly at 3:00am, is haunted by visions of natural yeast and baked goods!


Director's Bio: Brooklyn-based visual artist, designer, and director Doug Fitch has created productions for LA Opera, LA Philharmonic, Santa Fe Opera, the National Symphony, Teatro del Lago in Chile, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Bard’s SummerScape Festival, and others. Fitch is a co-founder of Giants Are Small, which produced concert theater productions with symphony orchestras and an interactive app and CD, featuring Alice Cooper narrating Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood. He has written several books, including Orgnas of Emotion and Orphic Fodder, and was a frequent contributor to Metropolis Magazine.
