The town of Grand Forks, BC has suffered catastrophic flooding 3 of the past 4 years. As a result, Grand Forks resident Jennifer Houghton, along with over 100 of her neighbours, is being forced from her home. This led Jennifer into the woods to investigate the causes of the flood, where clearcutting in the watershed, coupled with the climate crisis, have altered the hydrology of the region, resulting in monstrous flooding. Since these repeated disasters, Jennifer has become a vocal advocate for forestry reform in the Canadian province of British Columbia.
