Featuring an emerging young wildlife biologist from the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, Renewal is a heart-warming story of transformation and restoration on Washington State’s Elwha River. Co-produced with HHMI Tangled Bank Studios, this film reveals the relationship between salmon, wildlife and forests on the Olympic Peninsula. This short film also follows up on an award-winning feature by the same Director, Return of the River, which chronicled the largest dam removal in history. Producer and Director Jessica Plumb has lived on the Olympic Peninsula, surrounded by magnificent forests, for two decades.
