Effervescent Aya lives for the day, caring for her little brother, arguing with her mum, a normal teenage life in many ways. Except that the island she lives on is disappearing beneath the sea. So her family must decide whether to move their house, or first dig up Aya’s father’s bones before his grave disappears below the waves. Cleverly treading the line between documentary and fiction Aya faces her uncertain future with a huge smile and a joyful sense of adventure.

Mae’r afieithus Aya yn byw am y dydd, yn gofalu am ei brawd bach, yn dadlau gyda'i mam - bywyd arferol merch yn ei harddegau mewn sawl ffordd. Ond am y ffaith bod yr ynys y mae'n byw arni yn diflannu o dan y môr. Felly rhaid i’w theulu benderfynu a ddylid symud eu tŷ, neu ddatgladdu esgyrn tad Aya yn gyntaf cyn i’w fedd ddiflannu o dan y tonnau. Gan droedio’r llinell rhwng rhaglen ddogfen a ffuglen mewn modd celfydd, mae Aya yn wynebu ei dyfodol ansicr gyda gwên enfawr ac awch am antur.
