"NATURE AIN'T A LUXURY" documents a first time trip into the British Wild with Louis VI & his two friends. All three characters having grown up in urban London, Louis takes them on a trip to investigate and experience nature first hand for the first time, aiming to break down & discuss the barriers around accessing nature as people of colour. Both about getting young black and brown people out to reclaim Nature in the UK and exploring the history of why we've been alienated from Nature through both right to access and the colonial past. Following a story of Louis taking two friends from his area he grew up in, a rough little part of North London; on a explorative, heartwarming, & often funny journey to go experience the wildest parts of the UK, from swimming with Atlantic grey seals in Lundy island, to wild camping & stargazing in Dartmoor.
