For the Wildlife Center of the North Coast, a wildlife rescue center hit hard by the pandemic, Cormie's love of money may be just what the doctor ordered. A rescued cormorant will go to any lengths to help her wildlife center stay afloat.

The National Park Service has recently approved a plan to kill native Tule Elk in Point Reyes National Seashore to ensure more grass for cows which graze in this National Park. The plan also expands agriculture uses to include the introduction of commercial sheep, goats, possibly pigs, chickens and commercial row crops such as artichokes.
