Take to the water in these stories that take place on waterways around the globe

For most of their history, Ghanaian beaches were reserved solely for working men due to a prevailing fear of drowning in the village. This restriction barred women from enjoying the ocean, confining them to household chores.
In 2017, a man named Justice Kwofie spearheaded a transformative movement along with his six brothers with the establishment of the Obibini Surf Club. This initiative not only challenged this gender-based inequality but also the cultural fear around drowning. The surf club empowered women, granting them rights and inspiring young girls to embrace surfing as a new passion.
Justice's visionary stance ushered in a wave of change along Ghanaian beaches, liberating women from historical limitations and sparking enthusiasm for the sport. This shift toward inclusivity has enabled Ghanaian society to evolve, providing women with the same recreational prospects as men and allowing them to pursue their interests freely. With a membership of over ten active female participants, the surf club stands as a testament to the brothers' impactful mission.

Join us as we blend culture, action and heart while visiting professional kiteboarder, Sarah Sadek at home on the Sinai peninsula of Egypt. In a world where women are not often found in athletic roles, nor in the water, Sarah shows us how she is opening the eyes of her local community and pushing the boundaries in a gracious yet badass way (and yes, the two go hand in hand!)

From beneath the ocean’s surface to towering mountain peaks, the ocean weaves through all of our lives, connecting us all like a delicate strand of blue silk. To celebrate this connection, we've united an internationally acclaimed freediver, a world champion freeskier, and the world’s best offshore sailors. With an original score by Todd Hannigan and no dialogue, this film is a ballet with a meditative rhythm. “Rhythm of Water” intertwines the idea of athletic flow with a visual representation of the life-giving hydrological cycle – all while highlighting the ocean's vital role in nature.

A moving reflection on what it means to be connected... to the water, the fish, and one's truest expression of self. The river has been woven in and out of Alex Obregon's life. While working as a raft guide, Alex found his love of fly fishing by way of whitewater, and deepened his appreciation of all that a river holds. A raft quide finds his love of fly fishing by way of whitewater and reflects on his connection to water.

Devin Reuben is training to be the first certified nimiipuu whitewater guide of his generation. The nimiipuu (Nez Perce) have a long history with river travel– in fact, they introduced the practice to settlers– but centuries of displacement means Tribal members are now largely absent from their ancestral rivers. Devin and his family are on a mission to change that.
