Paddling the Tsiigehnjiik follows twelve students from Chief Paul Niditchie School in Tsiigehtchic, NWT as they canoe down their ancestral waterway with community knowledge holders and school staff. As the students make their way down the Tsiigehnjiik/Arctic Red River, they strengthen their relationships with their land, community, language, culture, and themselves.

Two dozen youth from the Kitikmeot and the Dehcho embark on a two-week canoe trip on the Pensive Lakes Loop near Yellowknife. Along the way they learn canoe skills and about themselves.

With the right experience and discipline Ellesmere has the potential to be the next alpha female. She must learn the survival skills from the matriarchs that came before her in order to not only earn, but to defend her position in the dog pack. ​Running on the Great Slave Lake is no easy task. Ellesmere, along with her musher and pack, must navigate strong winds, snowstorms and pack dynamics. Whatever happens, Ellesmere will find that every dog has a place in the pack.

Shot on 35mm filmstock with an orchestral musical score, Blind Ambition brings to life the story of an inspiring and courageous pilot. After learning to fly in WWI, a young Canadian man returns to home to start a bold career in aviation. Barnstormer, lifesaver, and intrepid bush pilot, Wilfred ‘Wop’ May proves the value of flight to the world. But when a 15 year old injury requires catastrophic vision surgery, he is forced to admit he’d done it all with only one good eye. Now grounded, Wop continues to push aviation forward by running training schools for pilots and navigators in WWII, creates the first Air Search and Rescue service, and opens the Arctic and Pacific Rim to commercial flight. However, this dedication leaves little time for family, and upon Wop’s death, his teenage son discovers how little he really knew his father when he travels the North and hears tales of his father’s adventures, heroics, and generosity - the legacy of Wop May.

The Dawson City landslide is a dominant feature of Dawson City, Yukon’s city-scape. It is a pre-historic rock-slope failure at the northern edge of town. It is known by the local Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in as Ëdhä Dädhëcha̧ or Moosehide Slide. This film juxtaposes the scientific reasons for the occurrence of the slide versus the legend that the local Indigenous people say was the actual creation event.
