College freshman Tori arrives at college shortly after the pandemic and still carries trauma from her conservative high school. Tori is a transgender athlete and faces crippling gender dysphoria in various social situations, such as changing in locker rooms and making new friends. As a result, Tori was content to lead her life in isolation, changing alone outside and keeping to herself. Yet, when she meets fellow teammate and first-year Amanda, she finds herself letting her guard down for the first time, and through their growing relationship, each individual can confidently step into their newfound identities for the first time.

Emergence

When a socially anxious athlete is asked out by a teammate at college lacrosse tryouts, they strike an unlikely relationship and emerge together into their newfound queer identities.

A chance ride with the cocky and close-minded SPC Ryan Keith, Seth realizes he is no longer willing to shrink down for the comfort of others. Lessons are taught in the most unpredictable way, thought patterns are challenged and overcome, and ultimately, lives are saved in more ways than one.

A Trip

ADRIAN gets an ear piercing from his crush, LEX, finally working up the nerve to ask them out. As they text about date plans, Adrian is nearly hit by a passing truck. The DRIVER shouts slurs at Adrian and drives off. Adrian trains at the gym with his friend VIC, but can't shake his insecurities after the incident. He takes out his new earring in the locker room. When he arrives for his date with Lex that evening, they notice the piercing his gone. Before Adrian can explain, he spots the truck from earlier pulling up in the distance and walks off to confront the Driver. A short tussle between Adrian and the Driver ensues in the parking lot, and ends with Lex nursing Adrian's wounds back at their apartment. Adrian apologizes, but it's clear his need to defend his masculinity has brought the date to an end.
