Jac and Camille, a French-American couple, have recently moved to the states to build a new life together. The transition has been strenuous, depleting a once vibrant relationship. When Jac is late for yet another date night, Camille challenges her commitment to their relationship, and ultimately, their joint future. The argument that ensues threatens to undo the very fabric of the family the have been trying to cultivate. To mend it each woman must navigate the decision of whether to stay or go as they traverse each others’ languages.
