Branson and Erica, two lifelong friends who have followed their dreams to New York City, find themselves struck with a bedbug infestation in their apartment. After a long day at her “corporate hustle,” Erica joins Branson, who has sacrificed his day of auditioning on Broadway to take care of their emergency. One bottle of wine and several cans of spiked seltzer in, Erica begins to question their predicament, and Branson begins to feel her questions are becoming more like pointed accusations. Before long, their knowing looks snowball from passive aggressions to all-out laundry room chaos, leaving in it’s wake two best friends who have said far too much, way too late, pondering where they could possibly go from here.
