‘Wall Piano’ takes us into a daydream of a young girl who lives under the shadow of aseparation wall. Part music video, part magic realism, ‘Wall Piano’ shows a wall assomething other than an immovable barrier for a group of children living near theQalandia checkpoint in Ramallah, Palestine, a frontline of the West Bank conflict. The inspiration for this short film came from 12 year-old ‘Nada’, also featured in the film.

Asma Ghanem is a multimedia artist, illustrator, experimental musician & author fromPalestine, born in Damascus, Syria. Her work explores the space between reality andillusion and its representation.
Alexia Webster is a South African photographer, videographer and visual artistwhose work explores intimacy, family, migration and identity. Her work has been widelyexhibited across Africa, the United States, and India, and featured in the New York Times and National Geographic Magazine, among others.
Christopher Marianetti is a composer, producer andeducator from New Mexico. He co-founded Found Sound Nation, a production companyand nonprofit working at the intersection of music and social justice, and is a director ofOneBeat, a music diplomacy program bringing together musicians from around the world.
