In this shorts program, we are introduced to some complicated protagonists you just can’t help but root for. In these all-too-human dramedies, self-awareness proves both a blessing and a curse. Runtime is approximately 51 minutes.

About the Filmmakers:

Muhammed Amjad Ali (right) is an award-winning filmmaker and student journalist from Fremont, CA. Having directed a number of short films over his 10+ year career, TKAM marks what may be his final short film, leaving audiences EAGERLY awaiting its arrival (not really but still).


Yusuf Perwez (left) is a writer, student journalist, and actor from Santa Clara, CA. After getting on his knees and begging for a starring role in a movie, Perwez at last makes his long-awaited acting debut in TKAM, a film based on the real article he wrote about a missing school mannequin.
