Let yourself be swept away by the vibrant energy and profound beauty of this powerful concert. Sir Simon Rattle leads the London Symphony Orchestra through an all-British program spanning opera, jazz and symphonic music.

The adventure begins with the radiant rhythms and vivid imagination of Michael Tippett’s “Ritual Dances” from “The Midsummer Marriage.” The program then turns contemporary with the world premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage’s “Sco,” a guitar concerto written for jazz legend John Scofield that pulses with vitality.

The evening culminates with the soaring lyricism and quiet transcendence of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No. 5, a work of deep emotional resonance. Together, these remarkable performances reveal LSO's extraordinary range, power and expressive depth.
