In the U.S., one in four women is sexually assaulted during college. Few choose to report, citing a fear of reprisal, lack of faith in the legal system, and/or doubt about the significance of the event. This last point hit me hardest and led me down the rabbit hole to explore how the college hookup culture both obfuscates and makes room for sexual violence.
