Composed entirely of found YouTube vlogs, APRIL SUCKS is a collective portrait of teenage boys navigating the frustrations of life in quarantine.

Each resists overwhelming boredom, searching for meaning inside the inescapable box of quarantine and, more broadly, adolescence.

Director David Zucker

Director's Statement:

Early quarantine for me felt like being a teenager.

Stuck in a house I couldn't escape, bored, powerless, searching for an outlet for my energy and emotions.

So while developing this film, I turned to the people who were experiencing both simultaneously.

These are not glossy YouTubers hawking products - they are hilarious and struggling young men eager to connect.
