Director's Statement:
The Idea of the film is to play in the intersection between their daily lives and how others perceive them but from a perspective that puts us in their shoes.
What might look like a challenge for an outsider is a daily task for the person in a wheelchair.
The camera is mounted on eye level of the person in the wheelchair and we follow them from getting up and getting into the wheelchair to daily tasks such as grocery shopping, cooking, driving to going out but also their work and hobbies like archery practice, swimming or basketball playing.
We get an intimate glimpse into their lives. It was important to collaborate closely with the Swiss paraplegic foundation on this.
