Lydia Emily is an artist living in LA with progressive Multiple Sclerosis. "Lydia Emily's Last Mural" tells the story of Lydia painting her last mural with the help of a diverse community of artists and friends.

Director's Statement:

I filmed Lydia Emily's Last Mural over 4 days in October, 2019, painting what would turn out to be her last mural before she couldn't climb on lifts and ladders anymore.

Beyond Lydia's amazing courage and love in the face of despair, what most stuck with me from the experience was the amazing support from a stunningly diverse group of artists and friends.

In a world of tribalism and exclusion, I found this experience to be so uplifting and hopeful.

Pure love in the face of debilitating circumstances.
