58,000 lives are lost due to snakebite in India every year. However, there is a lack of robust data available on snakebites in Northeast India. Through the voices of victims and their families, doctors and scientists, this film is an exploration of the snakebite situation, and of possible solutions for mitigation and management of snakebite in the Northeast.

Wild You Were Sleeping is a new documentary series that shines a spotlight on species, habitats and ecosystems that are an integral part of our country, but unfortunately have not received the public attention and funding they need for their survival. Episode 5 of this short format documentary series highlights the Hoolock Gibbons that are found in non contagious forests of Assam; taking viewers on a journey to uncover the veil surrounding their survival and the irreplaceable habitats they call home.
