Last year, our shorts programs were themed after movie titles, but since the pandemic began, our lives have revolved around the television set as the source for movies. This year’s short film programs are named after famous television shows, more specifically reality tv shows and game shows, since the last year’s news cycle has felt like one big dramatic and suspenseful reality tv show.

Through documentary, stop-motion animation, and cinematic vignettes,  this is a story about the harrowing experiences of three people who survived solitary confinement in prison and found freedom and a meaningful life on the outside with a new appreciation for the value of human connection.
